George T. Drost

George Drost concentrates in estate planning, corporate law, and international law.  He is experienced in a variety of sophisticated estate planning and wealth transfer techniques, including revocable and irrevocable trusts, family limited partnerships, charitable gift planning, and tax qualified plan distributions.  Mr. Drost has also been involved in establishing succession plans for several multi-million dollar corporate clients.

 Mr. Drost received his A.B. from Augustana College in 1969 and his J.D. from DePaul University in 1972.

 Mr. Drost worked for three years as an attorney for the Internal Revenue Service of the United States Treasury Department.  He then was corporate consul for a closely held company until 1985 when he founded George T. Drost and Associates, Ltd.

 Since 1989, Mr. Drost has been active in several initiatives to better relations between the Czech Republic and United States including the Council of Higher Education. 

 Mr. Drost resides in Arlington Heights with his wife, Beth.  They have three grown children and five grandchildren.
