John O’Connor concentrates in advising and counseling corporations, limited liability companies, partnerships, and financial institutions on business transactions, banking and finance, commercial real estate and intellectual property.  He is experienced in handling commercial real estate, mergers and acquisitions, leasing transactions, intellectual property licensing and corporate partnership counseling. He also advises business entities on financing, contract review, and employment matters.  Mr. O’Connor also represents families and business owners on their estate planning.

Mr. O’Connor received a B.S. in Business Administration from Marquette University and received his J.D., cum laude, from Valparaiso University School of Law in 1993.

Mr. O’Connor was Associate Counsel for Pioneer Financial Services concentrating on mergers and acquisitions and general corporate transactions and has also served as Assistant General Counsel for First-Penn Pacific Life Insurance Co.  Mr. O’Connor was an associate with a DuPage county firm before joining the firm in 2002.

Mr. O’Connor lives in Arlington Heights with his wife, Sara, and their three children.
